Does anyone have any information about the CA-CUSA certification. I cannot afford the CA offered course right now, but would like to persue this certification. I have a test and operational Unicenter environment to learn with and would like some recommendations as far as training material. I downloaded the PDF Administrator Guide (and others). Are there any books out there that anyone would recommend. Are any of you certified? Do you have any success stories, warnings about what to look for, recommendations, etc? Thank you for your help. | Sorry it took so long to respond Cory, a fair number of our members have been in Vegas for CA World and internet access was quite limited. I have passed your request on to a few contacts a CA and hope to give you an update in about a week. (Most of CA was at CA World too) Give us a little time and we will see what we can come up with. |

Hallo Cory, i am a certified CUSA and CUSE. The CUSA exam is not so heavy and the most questions are about the unicenter explorer. Additional themes: worldview tools, dsm configuration, agent configuration, event management and integration in ump. The exam to become CUSE is more pretentious. You have to know many about security on microsoft, sql, data scoping and orb access. You also have to know all the ports for communication between sql, dsm and agents, cam, cci, vpn, wvdb tunneling. There are also the subjects round about fault tolerance: cor, dsm and event management. Feel free to ask me. AndrΘ

Hi, AndreAbels I read your answer of Cory's questions and I have another question about CUSA and CUSE. Would you please to answer to me? 1. As Cory, I can't afford the fee of CA' course but I have some documents. One of that documents is: UN210 Unicenter NSM Installation and Administration. I have read in CA.com and they write that: After read UN210, I can take a certification. What is the course I can take after I read UN210, CUSA or CUSE? 2. I have another question. What is the first certification I can take before, CUSA or CUSE? What are the others document that I have to read before I can take two certification CUSA and CUSE? Thanks so much for your helps. If you can, please send direct email to me. Best wishes for you! |
