On our windows platform, I have setup 2 Agent configurations and added a Unicenter on and off bat file to the shutdown and startup scripts
so we can diable alerting during scheduled downtimes and have the agent validate the environment during startup.
Problem is CA has said the agntctrl is not support on CaiUxos based on problems we escalated. Any ideas on another approach other than calendars. AEC is a option but there are 14+ process over 10 AIX servers. Thanks Chad

cd D:\NSM\AGENTS\AgtConfig
cawto -n HCTNET18 -c orange Brio Monitoring disabled for maintenance
sleep 2
ldconfig bootstrapBrioProdDwn.txt
sleep 2
AGENTCTRL caiW2kOs CONTROL:RestoreConfigSet:bootstrapBrioProdDwn

I imagine the portion of agentctrl that's not supported on UNIX is the CONTROL flag? I'm curious why they aren't porting the fix to UNIX if it works on Windows?

Instead of stopping and starting agents, what about altering the attribute of the agent to "unmanaged" in the 2D map?
