| I am wanting to automate through message records and actions the process of when I received a trap that a service has stopped to try and restart the service three times. If it fails all three times to send the em console a message. Has anyone tried anything like this before? Would a solution be to write a script that tries to do this and run it as an action? |

| I have scripts written to do this. I have found it more reliable to load the MS Resource Kit on the server and use some simple batch jobs. |
