In our Unicenter NSM we have some servers that provide services to 2 or more applications and we want to make BPV with each services that our client has. I.E. 2 BPV ApplicationXX and ApplicationYY. ApplicationXX = Server1 , Server 2 and Server3 ApplicationYY = Server1 and Server 4 If there are a problem with a service/process in the Server1 that affect only to ApplicationXX, it will be a change of colors in both views. We just want the change only in the ApplicationXX view. } Can we do that? |

| I think this has been an issue with all of us since the inception of the product. BPV's do not really show a Business Process View, more than anything else it is a hardware / infrastructure view. But to answer your question "Yes and No". Out of the box it can not be done. You can however code your way around it manually or create dynamic BPV's and use one of the new features in 3.1 (BPV Manager) to populate these BPV's when an alert occurs. |
