We have Unicenter Sysview 7.6 installed in our IBM mainframe but I believe it's not being properly used.

I was wondering: Can I configured Sysview to generate events related to system's condition (CPU utilization, Disks, Memory, etc.) and send them to Event Management?

Any help would be appreciated.

Sysview can be configured to generate events based on thresholds being breached. Our MVS engineer refers to this component as the "data collector". We are currently using two different data collectors (MVS and MQ). Messages are by default sent to the MVS console and we have OPS/MVS rules in place to send them to our Unicenter Event console via CCI connection.
