When I attempt to recycle Unicenter services (unicntrl stop/start all) I receive the following error message:
"Service Termination is in progress.
Please wait...
Service Control thread is busy, retrying...
...
Service Control thread request has timed out
Service Control thread is busy, retrying...
...
Service Control thread request has timed out
Service Control thread is busy, retrying...
...
Service Control thread request has timed out
..................
Service has exceeded the expected termination time. Please be sure service is in
active before restarting.
Function Has Been Completed. Maximum return Code was <4>"
This is running on a Win2k Platform. I have rebooted and the problem still exists.

| It looks like your services are not shutting down completely. Are they all down after it completes? Which service pack and patches have you applied? Have you opened an issue with CA on this? If so, post the status and comments here. |

| You can also check to make sure the Unicenter service shut down. Also verify the user your logged in as has rights to stop and start services. |
