Hi, I'm Moving NSM 3.0 0211 to another machine. Do you have any heads up or advices for me?

It has been a while since I played with 3.0 0211, but here goes... I would do this as a test first...
Backup the databases on the current server using MSSQL Backup.
Build your new server and install TND with the same exact patches you have on the production server. DO NOT Discover anything...
Shut down TND on the new box.
Restore the database to the new box using MSSQL Restore.
Run a wvrepsel on new box
Start TND
run a setdsmname on new box
Then run a resetdsm...
That should do it |

and regarding unicenter home path ? what to do in this case?
NSM 3.0 ..\tnd %agentworks_dir%
NSM 3.1 ...\nsm %agentworks_dir% |

Well you asked about moving, not upgrading... So, follow the same steps as before and get 3.0 0211 installed on a new machine then do an upgrade to 3.1 on the new machine...
Otherwise, trix out everything in the old server and then trix it in to the new 3.1 install |
