In preperation for installation of the caiSqlA2 agent on a Legato Active/PAssive cluster, has anyone done this successfully? From what I have so far, it looks like I'll need to install the Common Services and Win2003 agent on both real nodes and bind the real IP in the aws_snmp file, then install the caiSqlA2 agent choosing the virtual node name. Any pitfalls or additional configuration tips you can share? Thanks in advance. |

| I am trying the same on an MS active/passive cluster. The method you described Mike, seems to be about as close as I can get to accurately monitoring, however it has its down side.. The share is contantly in alert on the passive side, so I guess it lets us know when there is a switch. Nor pretty but seems to work. Have you figured anything else out? |
