After change a state of an object in 2D-Map like unmanage it doesn't send the change to EM Console. Nevertheless I'm able to receive traps from the object |

Hello,
I think this situation is related. When I discover an object I do not receive this new object traps until I restart the DSM. If I delete an object in 2D-MAP the traps are still received in the EM console until I restart DSM. Is there a issue with DSM layer in worldview gateway? |

| We were instructed by third party install company to always do a "setdsmname" after any "discover" command. |

setdsmname and resetdsm are totally different utilities Setdsmname will read in a configuration file and then update the DSM_Server and DSM_Address Instance Level Properties (ILPs) within the repository. When the aws_wvgate starts on each of your DSMs, they will only download the information about objects that are assigned to them. So if you have more than 1 DSM it tells each of them the subnets or IP's they should monitor… The resetdsm command reloads agent policy files. And never run the setdsmname on a workstation... NOT GOOD Only run it from a DSM |
