BrightStor ARCserve Backup version 9
using Pre/Post Global option to execute a command file to shutdown an Oracle database before the backup jobs starts and also to re-start the Oracle database after the backup job completes. Getting an ORA-01031: insufficient privileges error when trying to execute these command files via Pre/Post. Does anyone know what account is being used to execute the Pre/Post commands? |

| Verify logging yourself manual as you are setting in the "Run Before/After Command As" and running the script manually. Check you are loggins as sysdba to the database. |
